Celebrities have the benefit of only having to say they wanna try standup and immediately they can be plopped onto some of the most popular standup comedy stages in the US. A couple years ago John Mayer went up at the Comedy Cellar and just a week ago Ron Artest got on stage at Hollywood’s Improv.

I’m jealous. That’s right I’m jealous that all these celebs have to do is say they wanna try it and they’re immediately able to get on the best stages in New York City and Hollywood. I can’t just say I wanna play NBA Basketball and then get the ball at the foul line in a Celtics/Lakers game! This is bull shit, man! I wanna sing to a sold out Madison Square Garden crowd. What the hell!
